Thank you for visiting us on line.  We are a multifaceted business that strives for excellence in every area.  Monreal Corporation has been in Austin, Texas since 1985 proudly involved in the construction industry. 

Steve Monreal is the Founder and President of Monreal Corporation.  He is a subcontractor's builder; he worked his way through the building business from the ground up.  This self-made, successful builder has earned the respect of his peers and the tradesman who work with him.

Born in Dimmitt, Texas Monreal was raised and grew up in Vega about 30 miles west of Amarillo and graduated from high school in Lazbuddie, Texas a small town of about 100 people.  Afterward, he attended Texas State Technical Institute in Amarillo where he received an associate degree in construction. 

Monreal worked as a framer for two years after his graduation from TSTI, then started his own framing company which is known today as Monreal Framing Corporation.  This start was only the beginning of a progressively successful rise in the building business.  He moved to Austin in 1985 to continue building his business.  The framing company Monreal owns continues to play a vital role in the Monreal Corporation as a whole.  Today, he has 30 crews working at any given time. 

By 1991, he had the experience and confidence to start building his own homes.  Monreal Custom Homes is another division of Monreal Corporation and delivers an average of 20 custom homes per year.  Steve is proud of the fact that he has never missed a deadline.  His excellent relationships with his subcontractors has been a major factor in accomplishing this achievement. 

In addition to the Custom Homes and Framing Division of Monreal Corporation, Steve also owns an Excavation company; meeting the needs of Austin's construction industry!

Steve Monreal operates his business with a hands on approach, pays his labors on a weekly basis and follows through on his commitments.
